Home Points WorksheetConQuest motivates boys through positive reinforcement. For example, doing acts of charity or showing self-discipline, being studious or doing his chores can be rewarded with big points for your son's ConQuest squad.
Now ConQuest Lemont members can earn points for his squad at home. Print the worksheet and fill in the table to determine how many points he can bring to his next meeting.

The Better Part - Your Guide for Personal Prayer and ReflectionFather John Bartunek, LC, author of the best-selling book Inside the Passion, has created a dynamic, Christ-centered resource for personal prayer. Beginning with a detailed and practical guide to Christian meditation, there are over 300 units - each consisting of a passage from the Gospels and a four-part commentary based on common themes. All four Gospels are contained and commented on in their entirety. Small enough to be portable, The Better Part is an elegant, sturdy softcover with French folds and a ribbon marker.
If you purchase only one Catholic reference and meditation book this year, buy this one. Truly a book for a lifetime of spiritual enrichment and growth - order your copy today!

Joel Stein's new music CD: Always ForwardHis contemporary Christian rock album excels with upbeat lyrics and catchy songs that inspire and motivate.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to release a CD and share my music with others,” Joel said. “I’ve always enjoyed writing songs. And to be able to share my faith through music is a great blessing.”
Songs “Thy Kingdom Come,” “Time and Eternity” and “Press On” also focus on certain aspects of the Regnum Christi charism – apostolic dynamism, the appropriate use of time, and perseverance.
A favorite entitled, “Save the Family,” is a rich and profound commentary on society and the great need for strong and faithful families in our world.
Always Forward's first track is the background for our local club video. Watch the video and enjoy the song.
The album is available for purchase at www.JoelSteinMusic.com and offers free audio clips.

Jay Dunlap writes Raising Kids in the Media AgeWhat is the relationship between television and ADD/ADHD? What does hypnosis have in common with watching television? What do we miss when we don't communicate in person? Why will future generations see media such as television and the Internet as a single medium? How do we strike a healthy balance between media consumption and our needs as individuals and families?
Jay Dunlap's new book Raising Kids in the Media Age answers these questions and many more with a realistic and constructive approach that parents will find enlightening, practical, and applicable.
At the heart of his message, Dunlap shows that parents must understand the communications media in order to be effective educators of their children. The media are here to stay; our task is to learn how to manage this double-edged tool in a way that serves the family and doesn't rip it apart.
